"Sadu Chiru Falls" is a beautiful waterfall on the hills of Sadu Chiru Hills. Although technically under the Senapati District of Manipur, the emergence of a waterfall in Leimaram in the Bishnupur region has given it the famous name 'Leimaram Waterfall'. Sadu Chira Falls is known as Leimaram Falls because of its proximity to Leimaram in Bishnupur district in Manipur. In the middle of the forest, one has to climb a short distance to reach the falls. It has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in Manipur. But the confirmed name of the waterfall is Sadu Chiru. The name of the place is derived from Sadhu Chiru Hills, after which the village was named. The waterfall was raised by hand and brought to this level by the hard work of the men and women of Sadu Chiru village and therefore, it is not appropriate to give it any name other than Sadhu Chiru Waterfall. It is 29 kilometers from Imphal and falls under the Senapati region. In a mountainous environment, one can expect as many waterfalls as in Meghalaya and Sikkim, but in reality, there are not many waterfalls in Manipur. It has few waterfalls but is well maintained and scenic.
